#1 - 2009 Cline Cellars Rousanne/Marsanne
(
Straightforward lemony flavors are juicy and refreshing, with a flair of spice, fresh tobacco and apple on the finish.
#2-2008 Jules Taylor Pinot Gris (
The 2009 Cotes de Tablas Blanc is an unqualified success. A blend of 45% Viognier, 28% Roussanne, 20% Marsanne, and the rest Grenache blanc, nectarine and flower notes combined with wet rocks, honeyed grapefruit, and white peach are all present in this medium-bodied, richly fruity, yet very well-defined wine.
#3- 2008 Chateau Smith Cabernet Sauvignon (
Lithe, elegant and nicely focused to show off its bright raspberry and cherry fruit. Lightly veiled in fine tannins, picking up white pepper and cinnamon notes on the lively finish.
#4 - 2007 Wishing
Tree
Bright and jazzy, offering a lively mouthful of spice and blueberry flavors that skitter easily through the refined finish.
